Set a Goal - Decide how many minutes each day you are going to set aside for your Korean studies. Stick to this no matter what comes about. Setting a goal to study each day will help you more quickly achieve your goal to learn Korean fast.
Set a Time - Know at what time you are going to study Korean each day. This is part of your goal setting but of equal importance to your success. Your time might be first thing in the morning. Or it might be on your evening commute home. Whatever the time is, stick to it.
Take Notes - Buy yourself a notebook to use for your Korean studies. In your notebook take notes of the words or phrases that may be difficult for you to remember. Spell them out. Write their definition. You’ll be surprised with how much this will help you in your goal to learn Korean fast.
Collect Korean Articles and Pictures - Keep a folder and collect Korean articles and pictures about the language and country you are learning about. You might find an article about Korea. Add those to your folder. The internet is full of Korean language newspapers. Print off some articles to look over and see how many words you recognize.

The KOREAN Language: Korean is a language of uncertain ancestry. It is thought by some scholars to be akin to Japanese, by others to be a member of the Altaic subfamily of the Ural-Altaic family of languages, and by still others to be unrelated to any known language. The Korean tongue is spoken by about 68 million people in Korea (45 million in South Korea and 23 million in North Korea) and by nearly 1 million others in Japan. Unlike Cantonese, Korean does not use tones to make semantic distinctions. Its syntax, however, is similar to that of Chinese, while its morphology resembles that of Japanese. A distinctive feature of Korean is the use of a number of different forms to indicate the respective social positions of the speaker, the individual spoken to, and the individual spoken about.
