Having a busy life shouldn’t keep you from learning Chinese.  We offer several Chinese language courses that will allow you to learn to speak Chinese while driving, exercising, doing housework, etc.  This means you can learn Chinese anywhere, anytime.  The ease with which you’ll learn Chinese is amazing.

Can I Really Learn Chinese?

The answer is YES!  Learning Chinese is easier than ever with our full line of Chinese language courses and learning aids.  Learning Chinese is not as hard as you might think.  With all the available Chinese resources, you can learn while commuting, while watching TV or while sitting in front of the computer.  If you want to learn to speak Chinese, there is no excuse to not.  The world is at our fingertips and learning Chinese will help you better communicate with everyone.

Here are 5 Secrets to Learn Chinese Fast:

  1. Set a Goal - Decide how many minutes each day you are going to set aside for your Chinese studies.  Stick to this no matter what comes about.  Setting a goal to study each day will help you more quickly achieve your goal to learn Chinese fast.
  2. Set a Time - Know at what time you are going to study Chinese each day.  This is part of your goal setting but of equal importance to your success.  Your time might be first thing in the morning.  Or it might be on your evening commute home.  Whatever the time is, stick to it.
  3. Take Notes - Buy yourself a notebook to use for your Chinese studies.  In your notebook take notes of the words or phrases that may be difficult for you to remember.  Spell them out.  Write their definition.  You’ll be surprised with how much this will help you in your goal to learn Chinese fast.
  4. Collect Chinese Articles and Pictures - Keep a folder and collect Chinese articles and pictures about the language and country you are learning about.  You might find an article about China or Hong Kong.  Add those to your folder.  The internet is full of Chinese language newspapers.  Print off some articles to look over and see how many words you recognize.
  5. Have Fun! - There is no sense setting a goal to learn Chinese if you don’t have fun.  Use your new language skills to practice with native speakers.  And before you know it, you’ll be on your way to learning Chinese.  Good luck and have fun!

The CHINESE Language:
Chinese is the mother tongue of over 1 billion people. Spoken Chinese has varied regional dialects. The two most common dialects are Mandarin and Cantonese. The pronunciation of the two are totally different.

The two are both tonal languages (different tones have different meanings for the same sound.) and they also have different vowels and consonants too. Mandarin has four tones while Cantonese has more than six. People who can understand only either Mandarin or Cantonese can communicate with each other by writing because they use the same written characters with a few exceptions.

Mardarin is the official language in Mainland China, Taiwan and Singapore. The Mandarin dialect is used by most of the Chinese schools, colleges and universities and in most TV programs, movies and radio stations all over the country (even in Guangzhou or Canton where people speak Cantonese in their daily lives.) Mandarin is one of the five official languages in the United Nations.

Cantonese is mainly spoken in Hong Kong, Guangdong (where Guangzhou/Canton is the capital) and Guangxi provinces and most of the overseas Chinese communities including Australia, Europe, North America and other parts of the world.
